For Brands
Hire UGC Creators for TikTok and Instagram
Canvas UGC Marketplace lets a brand hire creators to make short videos for TikTok and Instagram. You publish a campaign, review the posts and statistics creators choose to share, and send an offer that says exactly what you are paying for, when each video is due and who owns it.
How Hiring Works
From a funded campaign to an approved video.
Add Money to Your Wallet
Deposit by card through Stripe, between $10 and $20,000 at a time. Stripe’s card fee is shown as its own line; your wallet is credited the full deposit.
Publish a Campaign
Describe the work, choose the platforms and how many creators you want, set the schedule, then set the pay and rights. Publishing locks the creator pay and platform fee for every creator place.
Review Applicants
Creators apply with the accounts and videos they choose. You can also open any creator’s profile: details, platform statistics, recent posts with featured ones first, and their Canvas record.
Send an Offer
Set the pay, video count, platforms, what each video delivers, the schedule, your review time and the ownership option. The creator reads the same terms before accepting.
Approve Each Video
Approve it, ask for a change, or reject it with a note. Approving pays the creator for that video.
What You Put in an Offer
Everything that usually causes a dispute is written down before work starts.
- Pay
- One total per creator for the agreed videos. The campaign has to hold it before the creator can accept.
- Videos and platforms
- How many videos, for TikTok, Instagram or both, and whether each one is delivered as a file, a post on the creator’s account, or both.
- Schedule
- Delivery days, posting window and time zone. Lateness is judged by the time the platform says the post went live.
- Review time
- Between 48 hours and 7 days per video. If you do not decide in time, the video is approved and paid.
- Drafts and captions
- Optionally approve a draft before a video is posted, and set caption requirements that are checked when the video is submitted.
- Ownership
- The creator keeps ownership (with optional paid reuse per video), grants an exclusive license for 3, 6 or 12 months, or transfers copyright. Rights pass only for videos that are approved and paid.
- View goal
- Optional. A target number of views within 7, 14 or 30 days. It is part of the agreement but never moves money.
- Performance pay
- Optional, on top of a guaranteed fee: a bonus at a view target, or pay per 1,000 views up to a maximum per video.
What Protects You After Acceptance
- Change requests
- Up to 2 per video; the creator has 5 days to replace it.
- Posts are checked
- A posted video must be a new post on the creator’s own connected account, published after acceptance, and is never counted twice.
- Views
- Read from TikTok or Instagram for 30 days after posting, per platform, never combined across platforms.
- Unspent money
- Ask for unspent wallet money back at any time. Money a campaign no longer needs returns to your wallet.
- Continuing work
- Offer the same terms again as a private booking, or renew each period as a retainer that the creator accepts each time.
What You See About a Creator
Only what the platform reports and what happened on Canvas UGC Marketplace.
- Shown
- Profile photo, name and handle; followers, following and post count as the platform reports them; typical views (the median of recent posts, with how many posts it came from); recent videos; the creator’s bio, topics and languages; their Canvas record.
- Never shown
- Estimated or scraped figures, bought or “verified” badges, private or deleted posts, or any promise about how a video will perform.
